TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will round things out once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.

Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Here is the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It does inform your decision.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
